I say both as I was born Idaho, but live and work in Ut.
Been fishing since I was maybe 2. With the Snake River for a back yard, had no choice.
I am a Fly Fisher. Love everything about it, but it is just my choice, nothing else. I am not an elitist. I do have standards but for myself, not anyone else.
I started tubing about 30 years ago. Started with a Caddis Donut, and then moved up making a couple stupid purchases along the way. I am one to preach, you get what you pay for.
Some of the more memorable tubes are the Caddis, then one of the first SFC. Used that thing to death. Then the Freestyle H3. What a wonderful tube. Even had three of them at one time. So sorry I let them all go now. Then I had Hybrids off the SFC with the Escalade, then the Navigator II. Later I too owned an Escape, but hated it.
Which brought me to Pontoons. First being an Alpine Bucks. Great pontoon, then an 11 1/2' 12" diameter Cardiac Canyon.
The SFC has a unique design and Dave Scadden being the designer has taken his design to new levels.
I know, sounds like I work for him. No, I don't, but I sure like his boats.
I have way more than I need at this time but they all get used and they all have their time and place....LOL
