Any Ponderay owners out there? Wondering how does it compare to a float tube, Cumberland specifically.

Thanks!
Jerry

Most guys will say the cumberland rocks best way to go. I like the look of yhe pondary but it seem to be over sized just my 2 cents.

I have recently upgraded to a Cumberland, and now would not go with anything else (after installing an inflatable seat cushion)
I looked at the one you mentioned, but it seemed way too long and looked like it would be a real hassle to load ind unload, the ability to row would be nice at times, but I use a set of Scubapro jet fins and I can quickly travel anywhere on the lake I want.

An added benefit to the Cumberland are the pack straps it comes with, makes it real easy to walk everything down to the water in one trip from the truck.

Thanks for the input. I'll look hard at the Cumberland.

OK I do love my cumderland but the ponderey is a great tube as well more stable and the oars give you the extra help you need to get from one side of the bay to the other plus eight now its on sale for $140 free shipping
Yes its huge but just as easy to turn as the Cumberland and the back space it a dry area and is inflatable it has 4 bladders and stablizing straps that actual bring you up out of the water a few more inches and the foot rest is adjustable so many more thing you can do with the oppsion out there but you can't go wrong with either way

I have my tubes have had one frame pontoon a skeeter that I did not care for and three kayaks. I'm down to just my tubes and have started looking at this frameless the back storage looks good I have read what some have posted I live in Indy home of the Colts and usually just fish farm ponds and some local rivers so anyone else have any opinion. I really don't have much of a
Option here looking around I already get very strange looks when I'm out in my tubes
