I was approached by a group that talked to me about expanding our forum. One idea was group trips, and I though to myself way the hell not. I will be talking to a group in Oregon that own's some private lakes and resorts to see what the cost would be for a large group to make a trip out there. There are some exciting ideas and great potential for growth with our board and I though this might be a good start.

I am hoping if it all works out we might try to set this up for the End of July beginning of August for a long weekend.

Is there anyone that thinks that they might be interested in a float tube fly fishing trip with a personal guide at a wonderful resort.

Hey Jeff,
I was born in Oregon, Have family there and love going back when I can. I'd totally be interested. Whether or not I can afford it and get time off work may be another story, but if there is any way I could make it work Id definitely be down. Look forward to the details if you put something together. Oregon is a beautiful place. Float tubing there would be an awesome experience.

Great thanks for the reply I hope to see this come to be in the near future, I am planning some interesting changes. Nothing to the main forum but I will be changing some important parts to the board. This is one of the areas I would like to see happen, gatherings branching out to other area's. Giving more people a chance to meet other members.

Sorry bro but if this works out there will be more. I will be talking to the owner tonight and I will post a possible price to make this happen. I also see maybe a company or two meeting us there to share there products with us. If you are going to try something like this then you might as well go big right.

Talk to the Gentleman today about this trip idea he said the best dates are March through June so if we were interested in doing this we would need to plan for 2015. He gave us a brake of $250 per person. we can take any where from 8 to 10 people. The only issue is there is a cabin but it only houses 5 people. camping is also allowed most people would bring an RV to stay in. The water would be ours from Friday till 0 Dark 30 in Sunday.
This is fly fishing only but they say it is well stocked and if you are a novice you will do just fine. We have time to make this work right if we are going to weight until next year. Let me know if this is something you would be interested in so I can continue to work on this and just maybe in the near future I can find a sponsor that might wont to get in evolved.

Sounds pretty cool. I'm never opposed to camping. Never tried fly fishing though, so I'm not sure this particular trip would be for me.

Think about it we have a year to plan this out and flyfishing from what they said is not that hard. I have done it I am not great but if you fish I am sure you will be fine flyfishing it can be done.
