What lure would you like to be better at "An FTFF Challange"

OK so I asked a question, "what lure would you not leave home with out" now here is the next question. You know where your confidence is in lures, or so where is your confidence lacking. One area for me was blade jigs (the Chatterbait) well I caught a few on it. I guess I cannot say I have confidence in it but I know I can catch with it.

So my next area of weakness when it comes to lures is Crankbaits, so I guess I will take the challenge on and say that next time out I will start throwing some crankbaits and I will continue till I land some fish.

So where is your weakness when it comes to fishing lures, and take the challenge. Start throwing your weakness and and post up when you have completed your personal challenge, Good Luck.

Probably a switchblade jig "swim jig with a blade attached to the hook" I've have yet to catch a spottie with one

Great thread! I started making personal lure and rig challenges back when I was just a young lad. There are many trips in my past that I was skunked because I was determined to learn how to use a new lure or method. Great fun!

For me it's bass poppers on a fly line. Started fly fishing about 25 years ago. But it was in the North West and all I ever fly fished for was trout. I can't wait to nail a large bass on a fly rod! I'll definitely update on this one as it is my personal challenge this year.

Large Swimbaits hands down  , I will continue to throw till my arm falls off to prove to myself that these things actually do catch fish  !!!!

Thanks guys for posting, I like that people are thinking what want to work on. This is our FTFF Challenge, fish the lure you want to improve on and post when you have conquered your lure challenge. Keep posting guys this is a good way to help us improve our over all fishing trips.
