Hello everyone! I live in central Ohio and love to fish. I do a lot of kayak fishing (have a hobie pro angler 12). But I have gotten interested in float fishing to go places where the kayak can not. I like to fish at AEP (if you live on Ohio you should know what AEP is). It is a place with about 350 ponds most of which are off the road and can in in the middle of some rough terrain. But the place holds many, many giant Bass!

So I hope to learn some things here. I am having problems matching waders to fins but I will go to the appropriate place to discuss that.

Many thanks!

Go to google maps and search for Cumberland, Ohio. look west and south of Cumberland and you will see most of the AEP ponds.

The majority of ponds do hold fish. Some more than others. The rule of thumb is the farther you are from the road the better the fishing is.
