OK things are well underway but it is important to remember that you can also score extra points by doing the following. If you land 3 different species of fish in a one week period you will receive extra points. So if you can land 3 different fish from the fish list that all meet the minimum length in a week score your extra points.

The challenge here is to get fishermen to hunt different fish during the event just trying to push for some variety. Twisted Evil

OK everyone Ditchbank Angler just got the golden ticket. He landed a very nice Catfish that was 15" over the legal limit scoring him a nice bunch of extra points, as well as he got his 3 species for 10 extra on top of those. Also, it is safe to say that 8.8 lb catfish is the big fish overall leader for the tourney 8.8 lb is the number to beat now. Good luck all tight lines, be safe and have fun.

Man these green bumb boards are so much easier to hold the fish on, as opposed to the one I made and put 3 coats of polyurethane on, which made it really slippery

Where can we go to see a leaderboard? And how can I turn the email notification on when someone posts on the forum?

Just curious is brandon and I the only ones that are unaware that this is week 2? The winter tourney the 1st week was longer because the day it started on and then the 2nd week they were normal. I just found out this is week 2

Yup! The last tourney started on a Saturday as well. Yhose 1st 2 days were added to the 1st week but that obviously has changed but wasn't mentioned anywhere on this tournament. It is what it is I guess. To the people that knew you got a 5 fish lead handicap lol.

I think to make it right though the people that posted in the 1st 2 days and today should not be able to post fish next week and tomorrow be week 2 like I'm sure most of us thought it was. Give the rest of us a chance to catch our week 2 fish and square everything up.

Please everyone understand it is very important to read all the rules. I sent out PM before the tournament started to each competitor as I started on Facebook as well

Here is the first PM sent before the start date of this tournament.

OK so this Saturday it is game on. For those new catches are posted for points weekly. You can only post 5 fish at a time and the week is considered Monday through Sunday. The start on the 2nd will make for a 2 day week, so it's your best 5 fish of Saturday and Sunday combined, then we move into a full week after that till the end.

I will be sending out tomorrow (5/31) the tournament card this card must be in each picture the day to count. This year we have 2 new things we need to discuss, first we are asking that you make the tournament card as visible as possible in each picture. In the past some pictures have portions of the sponsors cut off. So please do your best to make sure all logos are in the shot.

The other item is we will be requiring that each fish caught has its mouth closed when measuring. If a mouth is not closed it could result in a loss of a point for that posted fish. There are exceptions to this rule, toothy fish such as the Halibut or the Sculpin will require a lip gripper to control the fish for safety reasons. These fish are exempt from the closed mouth rule but will be scrutinized for there overall length when pictures for points. The goal is to have fun and not cause safety issues so please think of safety for you and the fish.

There is a thread already posted and locked which is "Float Tube Tournament Series June 2nd - Sept 1st" This thread will be unlocked on 6/2 and stay open for all your posts till 9/1 (the close). There will be more details in this thread when the game starts and if you have questions please post them in that thread so we can cover it for all. One last thing if you are posting on any social media please use the following Hastage ([You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]).

Good luck and lets simply have a good time.
Jeff
