Go on now...do you have five of your favorite Fall/Winter transition "go to" baits for fresh water bass? Do ya? Huh? Lay it on us!

Me:

Zoom super flook- twitch, pause...twitch

skirted swim jig - swimmer slow

Super spook...yes still able to get that top water bite!

6" swim bait...slow baby slow

Football Jig-crawdad pattern...#1 for me as bass are cooling down...getting slow and stop chasing the shad and switch to bottom food e.g. crawdads.

(Not in top 5 but always a given is the plastic worm or lizard...but you all know that)

That would b the 4" shad which is awesome but there is a baby version at a huge 2.5" the BBZ 1 baby shad. Same bait jus half the size, fisher an I noticed that the bait fish dont get any bigger than 3". I have the 4" in natural shad an havent got anythin on it. But the baby shad on the other hand works great an the fish species you can catch. Everthin from gill to crappie, trout, bass, catfish, striper an so on since allmost every predatory fish feeds on this size bait. Try the sexy shad color wont be disappointed.

I have one of those and never got a bite on it. Seems to swim well, but I have had much better luck through the plastic ones like the trash fish. Just seems to have more erratic movement like an injured fish.
