It is in San Diego, its 4 min from my house, its on japatul ln.

go to google maps and type in Loveland Reservoir, CA

and it should pop up,

the bad part is you have to park in a parking lot and hike down to it.
(ITS FREE)

but no water contact.

Basically you park in a parking lot, everything is free, you can't use a float tube or anything. and you have to hike down to the lake. but besides that its a nice lake.

Loveland is a pretty good walk in. You can only fish a bit of the shoreline because of land owners ect. Wter is owned by the city. I don't think you can tube it legaly. The lake is crazy good certain times of year with several 10 lb bass caught. I used to tube it 20 years ago It was unreal..to say the least. It was completely closed for years until they opened that stretch....Fish it fish it fish it..throw everything at them.. spring and summer will produce for you I'm sure...Good luck.
