ha.. tempting! My mother-in-law lives right next to there!
Bass Pro Shop is like disneyland, or a spa, for men! bounce

But, I'd be tempted to spend lots of $$$ on stuff I don't need, like waders..
Because I'm sick of looking at my brand new float tube, while I wait 3 weeks
for my fins, PFD, and backordered waders to arrive! Mad

I think I'm going to hit Home Depot, and start tinkering with a frame/rod
holder for the float tube.

Enjoy!!

Don't use those wire baskets. You will kill the bass and thats a BIG NO NO. Wire baskets will remove the slim coating.

Dude, your fishing from a kayak, you don't need the type of live well as if your fishing from a tube. I told you the other day how to build one, $60 to build it

Excellent point Miller. Only soft rubber netting should be used, if you need to use that type. Also I might mention that the same goes for LMB, even laying them on the ground, or a dock will remove their slim coat. Best to wet your hands before even lipping them, otherwise they become prone to disease, that could possibly kill them. BTW, this was proven by a well known marine biologist.

If you use a gal container for a live well, what happens if you catch a 20" fish..?

I am not sure what type of kayak you have eddie but you can use anything you want that holds water. you can even use a ice chest as well. Thats just a starting point on what I posted.

Hammer dose bring up a good point. its going to be hard to stuff a 20" fish into a 5gal bucket and add 2 more fish.
I would look into a small ice chest and plumb that up.

I`m thinking a 5 gall bucket. my yak has a squere long space on the back. If i could find a squere long bucket instead of a tall bckt. would be perfect.

If possible, a live well that's 24"X24" would be fine for bay bass, remember they need Oxygen to stay alive, to small of a space could hinder that.
