What is everyone (fly fisherman) using now that works? I will post a picture of my Purple Leech later tonight. Salt or Fresh patterns are good.

I really like the good 'ol olive wooly bugger or black version. Streamers are pretty easy to fish and imitate a lot of things

Have you ever fished a Thin Mint bugger. Brass bead head, brown body and Palmered hackle with a split Marabou tail of Olive and Brown. DEADLY

Deep Creek is up by Arrowhead. It goes all the way down to Victorville and many people FF the back side due to easy access and greater volume. I like fishing the upper end cause there is more fish heheheheh Twisted Evil

Its a very popular place. I found a flyfishing locations book at SportChalet that is for SoCal and it was in there. Its kinda tough casting up there but worth it.
Lots of fish but all smalies.
Easyily 20-30 fish days, but all 6" or less.

That's a cool pic Jeff!

I know these supposedly work and are going to be used on the San Gabriel or another river by the Project Healing Waters. I donated these a couple weeks ago. Zebra midges 18-20
