Bass pro extreme combo

This is for you baitcasters. Im sure most of you have the bass pro spring fishing classic flyer. Im thinking about picking up the baitcaster on the front page for 80 bucks, looking on line I think it goes for $160. So what do you say is this ok for my first baitcaster, ive never even tried one.

Yea Jeff, im thinking it will work for a starter. Im one of the oddballs that needs left hand retrieve and not sure if its available. Im not even a lefty thats just how I roll

Hey Fever they should have u covered on all ends there at BPS. I one of thier older extreme setups. It's works pretty good. The cast control can get a little finicky but it works once u get used to it.

I would recomend a 6.3:1 gear ratio or similar. With a Med Heavy rod. This is moat versitle set up, but just get what feels good to u. Good shopping.

I think that's a pretty good reel! For the price you can't beat the offering! Besides, BPS has GREAT warranty on all their products!
