Sorry guys still no progress with my foot tonight is certainly a no go for me and I won't be going out either I can hardly stand still but best of luck to everyone going out and stay warm it's freezing out there tonight! See everyone at the Perris gathering next week... still hoping to make it in the water but I will be there 100% for sure no matter if I can walk or not I'll find crutches. Looking forward to seeing reports from tonight good luck boys tight lines!  

Good morning boys. Well i had a good time at the gathering last night. Not to many tubers but understood with the scheduled time. Fridays are tough to get around. Traffic is pain in the ass!! Last nights weather wasn't too bad to start. The wind chill factor starting kicking in about 9pm. I caught myself a 18" skunk. I would post pictures but it got away. Wanted to put that out there before someone beat me to the punch. DAMN YOU..... NEWPORT!!!!!

Ya we will schedule next years event better guys, happy to see the guys that came out sorry i coukd float with you but glad i did not do it. I feel even worse today then laat night. All in all there were a grip of toy donated and prizes handed out and in that we had our success. So now off to the Perris event and then we will plan on a day to donate the gifts.  

Yeah Jeff. Keep me posted is like to join you in delivering the gifts. Thanks.

Just wanted to say thanks to Jeff for gettin us together and the raffle prize      , bunch of good gear in there!!! cant wait to put into action tomorrow!!   

bite was good for me, got into something 10 miin in with good size just so it could come off...was using a chartreuse color spinner with a chartreuse color hammer on this one...switched it over to Hawg seeker in the shrimp color and started getting bit...about 30 min later im on! little dink but its the skunkbuster! no pic of the dink...kept workin the hawg seeker and landed 2 more, nice sandy and calico....

so all in all lost 2, landed 3 won a side bet and got some goodies!!! great night!!

Ya they did well for the most part I missed out because I was not feeling well, and do to the cold it was a good idea to stay out of the water. I still don't feel good partly because I could not fish but mostly because I am sick.

Hey Ed myself and Shorebucket went home with a skunk too for sure a rough day out there hope the wind didn't pick up anymore in the afternoon for you guys

Nothing for me either. No love with the bass or blue gill.

Got nothing here due to the high wind. We came late due to family's laziness and whining. The wind kicked our sorry butts at the honey holes. Can't stay still long enough to tempt the fishes to bite.

Damn!!! It seems to be like that for fresh and salt water. Had a few buddies go out on salt this weekend they also had a tough bite. Must be the weather or the cycles of the moon. Look at me trying to find excuses for the skunks.

It's both, weather and the full moon. Plenty of feeding time at night, during calm hours between 12 and 4AM. Then you got wind kicking in high gear starting at 5AM. Only a lucky few lands 4 to 6lbs greenies.

Wow i for sure thought someone would get into some fish, ive read some good reports from perris.....oh well next time!

Fatboy, yeah some of my buddies hit the local lakes also and they were skunked as well, maybe the winds...
