What's up fellow fishermen,  I finally had some time to share my ride.

Hopefully this works. Any type of call outs or ideas are welcomed

Nice toon dgarza! Looks like a great fishing machine! As for the pictures not showing up directly into the post, try copying the IMG code from your photobucket account of each pictures, you copied the html one instead. When you copy and paste the IMG code, the pictures appear directly into your post.

Oh and don't forget to post of a fishing report soon on that bad boy!Twisted Evil

Thanks for the info wiseguy, I'll give one a shot and see how it goes. Went out this morning caught two but no real size. Bass at Pine Flat Lake water was 67df and I picked them up drop shotting.

I know Ed has the power drill prop but I wonder if anyone has a trolling motor on their float tube......

Now that is some kind of a ride for sure. I just looked up Pine flat Lake, looks real nice. How was the fishing? I think we will try it when we head out in our camper in May.

dgarza, I like how you mounted your Fishin' Buddy. I might just switch to that type of mount some day. I approached the same challenge a bit differently. (see photo) Used a wooden platform with the cup bolted to it. I have to pull the FF out when I'm moving or getting close to shore. Your way is slicker. I do have a place to rest my foot, but that was more accidental than planned.

A lot of people put Minn Kotas on Tubes and toons here.

Cool boat, but just a few questions. You are unable to row, correct?
Looking at the waterline on that boat, you are sitting quite deep. But then that particular boat with the huge rockers is not rated for a lot of weight.
Lastly, it is more energy efficient, not to mention easy to troll with the motor PULLING instead of pushing. You will get more out of your battery. Pull the nut and bolt out of the motor head and turn it 180 degrees, so the control handle is facing same direction as the prop. Just some hopefully helpful suggestions. Do you have any pictures of how the boat sits with you and gear IN the water?
