When I was younger I never used to think about over exposure to the sun. However now I'm older (and hopefully wiser) it's a big concern to all of us. We all know that when fishing in a tube you are not only subject to the UV rays from direct sunlight but also the reflection from the water. I've seen some Cloth type masks on TV… they almost look like a full face bandana. Anyone know anything about these or any other form of Sun Protection. I've seen guys fish with Hoodies on… but I don't imagine that to be very comfortable especially if you fish in a Hot area… I've tried sunscreen but you have to keep applying it for it to work properly and if you get it in your eyes (OUCH) to say nothing of handling your bait with that stuff all over your fingers. I've worn the Big Straw hat… but that can make casting a little difficult and is a pain if the wind is blowing hard.
