I don't know how many here are fly fishing guys, hopefully this report will appeal to some here:

The shootout  information might be a bit dated but is still useful.
I picked up two 2 Wt. rods a couple of years ago after reading this report and it is a lot of fun to use ultralight fly gear.  FWIW, most of my other fishing gear is either ultralight or light.  I rarely use my 5 Wt. rods after getting the 2 Wt. rods.  I lose more fish now because of the lighter gear but the fun factor has gone through the roof!

I have one. A Sage LL. fun rod for sure. But I have about 10 four weight though. Very Happy

What reel are you using on it?

I was luck to score a Battenkill Large Arbor "1". The English made reels. Not many 1's ariund, but perfect for the 2 wt. I can get 50' of backing on it, not that I need it on a 2 wt. but never know.
