I know they have already drawn the water down a bit , but it looks like it is gonna come down another 7- 9ft in the next month or so .... The lake will still be great fishing so no worries there  Thumbs Up  , Just gotta change a few things up

All part of the Dam Project ... it was bound to happen , it will not hurt the spawn , but it may change a few locations .

The cool thing is if you can take some picture of the exposed shore line you will then know structure for when the water level goes back up. I wish I would have done then when they did the draw down at Puddingstone years ago.

The bad thing is that the new fry won't have as much cover to hide in. Seems like that's the norm for SoCal Lakes. They always seem to drop the water level right after the spawn, so those babies don't have much cover to hide from larger fish and birds..

The water levels at my local spot have dropped this season. This has exposes some good holding points I never knew where there. Especially on the banks I thought had no good holes. Sad that the water levels are that low. Hope this rain brings it back up a bit. It would be nice if those holes I seen get filled back up soon. Just in time for spawn. Would make for some killer beds.

It is nice to be able to take advantage of the draw down to look at structure and such , but the lake was drawn down a lot a couple yrs ago and almost the whole east end was hike able . Another 3ft down and the little hidden lake will have a lot of fish trapped .

Ok Guys I have Talked with 3 very informed people at the lake on the draw down and it will indeed happen in July and it was confirmed once again from a Ranger Friend of mine that the Draw down will be 9ft !
