I think most are 10's maybe 8's. 4 segments on a 12 hook is pretty tough, but I am going to try some smaller ones. I use chenille for the legs, then burn them when done to get the effect. Magic marker for the dot's. I was hoping for blugill, but I have really only caught bass on them. I have not tried them out as much as I should. Time is my enemy.

Have you ever tied the Bully Spider, that is one of my favorite bluegill flies, but this are looking pretty darn good.

No, I don't know what that is. Please post up a picture. My caterpiller has a big butt, I am working on that, trying to improve. I will have some time later this month.
