Hey guys there are a few people asking, "What lures and setups should we use for Lake Perris Oct 3rd."

What would you guys think are some good setups and lures for the Fishfindermounts.com event this weekend. I am one of the guys asking this same question. I am planning to try some dropshotting, and some jika rigs as well.

What do you guys think. study

Best Advice I can give right now ,  The bite is pretty much 85% Reaction right now and Keyed to Shad , Remember with the Big Spot light we have in the Sky right now the AM Bite is pretty much shut down , it picks up around 10:30 - 12  .. These bass are moving A ton Chasing Shad
Threadfin : Looking for Lure ideas for Lake Perris this Saturday Threadfin-Shad_zpsq9tnlihk
And Silversides :

Baits that are working well :

- KVD Square Bills  : http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Strike_King_KVD_HC_Square_Bill_Silent_Crankbait/descpage-SKKVDHC.html#multiview

- SK Red Eye Shad  : http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Strike_King_Red_Eye_Shad/descpage-SKRES.html#multiview

- Spybaits : http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Duo_Realis_Spinbait_90/descpage-DUOSP90.html#cust_reviews

- Top Water : KVD or Rebel poppers (match the Hatch )

Lake Perris is Popular with Drop Shots , but the Bite is almost non Existent at this time , If you Want to Drag a Worm ,  Browns , Greens and Dark Purples are Good

These are just a few baits that are Popular At Perris ,

This the bait I see at the dam and sail cove. They are always there buy not allays in big numbers.
That was the the 20th so the bait should be a little bigger. I know the bass have gotten fatter in the last few weeks. My buddies still do real good dragging robos. I haven't seen any shad over there yet.

Pond Smelt :

Me and Jerdon went up on Wednesday , The Shad have moved for sure the few Bait balls i saw on the FF where in 20-30' on weed lines and moving quick with wolf packs on them . The Smelt i visually saw like normal hanging in 1-5' of water ... The fish are a little off with this Moon we had , hopefully all will be good on Saturday .
