Have the changes for the new license gone into effect yet ? Where if you buy your license lets say Today it will be good till this same day next yr . I know they are planning to make it last a full yr as a lot of people will not buy there license till March or April for the spawn . Little do they know during these winter months if you can tough out the chilly days they can actually catch a monster of a fish

As far as I know it is still a calendar year and not 12 months from date of purchase. Although I have heard a lot of talk about it changing to 12 months from date of purchase.

I agree with lolly on this one, I know they were fighting for it but I don't think a decision/ratification has happened quite yet. great idea though. some other states have done this for a while and it works well. CA F&W is just crying in their latte that they can't keep track of something like this and also whining that its not necessary.

Dam that would be nice, I doubt it happens but would be cool. I truly would like the life time license some day I will get one, some day.

I just bought my 2016 license 2 days ago. States that it is valid from 1/1/16 to 12/31/16.

Any Vets out their with a 70 or better disability can save huge by going to a state fish and game office and apply. I did.
