So I logged on this morning and I noticed "Not secure" in the beginning of the address.........Not secure| floattubeforum.forumotion.com

Should we be worried...........buying product thru the advertisers

I don't think there is an issue as the sponsors are not selling from our site. I also don't think there is an issue for us here but I will ask formation and get back to everyone.

Google is pushing for all websites to go to SSL. Any website address starting in "http" as opposed to "https" will trigger a warning these days.

You guys are both right. If you're giving out sensitive personal information, you should be on a secure connection (web address starts with https) but that isn't happening here, so no worries.

SSL for sub domains can be tricky, which I suspect is why forumotion isn't already doing it, but eventually they will be forced to set it up.

That is what i just got as well. We don't give oit or collect personal info through this site so it really is not an issue. They did not say the where moving over but i assume it will happen at some point as OB said.
