I arrived on Sunday and I had my camp set up and was on the fish by Monday.
The fishing has been slow for everybody because the snow runoff has made a wider very cold that we did manage to land three of the squawfish and I did get my first Pike.
I will send pictures later.

Today we had Bald Eagles and Golden Eagles over head, with deer all over the place and a weasel with a fish in it’s mouth running along the lake’s shore line while we were fishing.
This morning I hooked into a 28” Rainbow Trout.
I’m on a very week internet provider up here in the Montana mountains and so it’s either very slow or impossible to upload picture data.
I’ve been cooking meat on a sharpened willow stick and putting all my food away each night in order to discourage hungry nosey bears.
I’m in for an afternoon nap under the trees and then I’ll be ready to head back out tonight for another fishing session.
