Location: Los Angeles Harbor (LAH)
Duration: 06:00 hrs until 11:00 hrs (5 hrs)
Sun Rise: 06:12 hrs
Sun Set: 19:42 hrs, the days are getting shorter.
Moon Phase: Waxing Gibbous
Gray Light: 05:35 hrs
Tidal Conditions: 06:00 2 ft, 07:00 hrs 3 ft, 08:00 hrs 3.8 ft, 09:00 hrs
4.2 ft, 09:24 hrs HT 4.3 ft, 10:00 hrs 4.2 ft, 11:00 hrs 3.8 ft ... etc.
Air temperatures during session: cloud covered morning with temps ranging from 64 deg to 71 deg.
Water temperatures: 67 deg
Wind: 06:00 hrs 6 mph SE, 11:00 hrs 7 mph S.
Water clarity: translucent green.
Large Leaf Kelp Beds: huge kelp beds growing with bits dying off
Water Visibility: 3-4 ft
Tidal Coefficient: (CE) 64 in the morning, this is still average and considered a stable rate.

Model of Float Tube: Cumberland with DIY rod rack and hard-top lap-tray.

Rod and Reel: (2) Diawa LT 2500D Ballistic reels mounted on a on a 6' B&M Sharp Shooter rod and a St Croix 6'-8" AVIDX 6-12 lb rod and (1) Shimano Stradic 2500F reel mounted on a St Croix 6'-8" BassX 6-12 lb rod, the reels are spooled with 30 lb Diawa Samurai 8-carrier braid along with a 6' long 15-lb Seaguar Inviz-X fluorocarbon leader on each line.
Knots:RP (Royal Polaris) for braid to Fluorocarbon. IC (Improved Clinch) for attaching the leader line to the hook.
Tackle Used: 1/4oz Sardine Green/Silver, Pearl White, Glow Green and Anchovy colored HUB's. 3/8oz Sardine Green/Silver, Glow Green and Blue Mint colored HUB's.

Nice report Dan. Its amazing the color difference on Bass. Their color seems to depend on the structure you are pulling them out of. Great job out there bud.

I was leaning more towards the males being the brighter color (yellow) during spawn like the rest of the males in animal kingdom. Hmmmmmm.
