This is off topic and not about fishing but I have to share. Most of you know but still some don't and I feel the desire to share. My oldest son graduates the Naval Academy in just an hour now. This has been a long hard rode for us all but I think I can safely say it was hardest on Nathen. We are in Chicago now and currently on base. I just have to say we could not be more proud of this kid... Wait I mean Man now...

I plan on sharing pictures soon for now we are eagerly awaiting to see our son Graduate. His life is just starting and a peice of ours is moving on great work Nathen great work.

So I am sorry I have to be a proud father at least once more.  This Kid I mean Man of ours has taken us on one hell of an adventure.  We got to Chicago my wife and his Girlfriend on Thursday morning 5:30 am.  The flight was delayed over 7 hours so we get there and head to the hotel 1hr and 20 minutes away.  So day one was screwed up.  We got up about 10 and headed over to get tickets and check out our location.  Then headed off to see more of the Illinois area were in.  Lake Bluff all I can say is I found a new home.

We then on the next day got up for Graduation it was very wet heavy rains for the day very different from the first day.  We got there and watched the ceremony all I can say is  salute  So Cool the pictures and video don't do it justice.

After that, he was to ship out to Connecticut at 1 am which was delayed to 6 am to weather but not until we spent another 24 hours of no sleep seeing him off for A-School.  We did get some time and ended up in Downtown Chicago in the rain for a little sightseeing.

All in all we had a great time very nice to visit a new site for us and spend a little time with this new Sailor.  You can already see the change in him and I am sure there will be more to come.  Now it is off to learn how to drive the Nuclear Sub. salute
