We have done this before its just simple and fun we will open this at the beginning of October and close it a few days before Halloween.  I will put together a small prize pack for this years winner as well.

Once I can I will some of the past pumpkins and post them up to inspire everyone.  Post any questions you have or just plan out your carving for this years contest.

Is it already that time again Jeff?!

There were some truly amazing 🎃 pumpkin carvings turned-in last year, that were simply remarkable and or spooky!

I hope that everybody will find the time to break-out there freaky pumpkin carving tools and join us this year in having a lot fun carving freaky 🎃 Halloween  pumpkins!  Thumbs Up

And don’t forget... “THE BRAGGING RIGHTS”, for being known to ... REALLY CUT A BIG ONE!! 🤣 Ha ha ha!

I will cut the biggest. Do you think harbor patrol would mind me fishing from one? Would that be considered a carving?

My avatar was my PB 1172, many hours a day of spent pruning, burying vine, watering, feeding and some luck. When its growing good it will gain over 40 lbs a day. This year didnt go so good , spent too much time fishing.. Tapes out at 490 lbs.which is within a few percent of actual weight. Did not take it to the weigh off as it had a hole in it, not through to the cavity but would have still been dq'ed

A carved up 490 pound pumpkin should have an advantage here.

Looking forward to this years contest.
