Has anyone ever heard of an old school lure called and Armstrong
Lure they are supposedly out of production...but I've never heard of them...does anyone have any input on these lures.

A good friend of mine says one of his friends makes them...n they slay all species...but they don't make them anymore...sounds kinda off doesn't it...a wonder lure that works for all species but went out of production....

Not all that old school. Perhaps 20 years old. Designed by Bryan Armstrong for fishing on Lake Perris. A great lure. Shad shaped, no bill, made to run silent but move a lot of water. Cedar, Great colors and finish. Strong hardware. I've used it on the Cal Delta for stripers and black bass. OUSTANDING. Bryan moved to Colorado I believe, and just when he started to really market his lure and make some additional improvements, about 10-12 years ago, he passed away at a young age. I'm always looking for some of his lures. His family was talking about carrying on the product but it has not happened to my knowledge. If you can find some you will have a great lure.

Try a cedar lures search in google or bing. There are quite a few companies that make cedar lures. Also check ebay. These may not be the armstrong lures of yesterday but they probably work just as good if not even better.
