Hit up pudd this early this morning with trial&error for a shoreline session. Got to the lake at 7ish and started working the south shore.
Rig of choice was the ds with a purple robo. We dead stick the shorelines for a couple of hours and finally i hook up into a nice size bass. i yell, "fish on!" and start to horse'em in. As the bass gets close to the shoreline, my hook pops right out of it's mouth and the bass was gone.
That had to have been the biggest bass i've hooked into at pudd so far. After being robbed of that catch, i didn't wanna fish anymore and head home.
Will be giving pudd another try again tomorrow morning. hopefully i'll hook into another bass but this time get it to shore.
