Diamond Valley Lake

Went to Diamond Valley Lake today to have a look around for next weekends trip. I was down on the boat dock and they released stockers (3-4 lb trout with some good 10-15 ld ers for good measure) and the stripers were in mass hanging out suckin down trout That was one of the most awesome things I have ever seen. Big stripers, probably 3 feet long. Just wanted to share, again no pictures, but I had not been noodle whipped and Spandex removed when I was there.

I've been there when they stock also and it's a site to see for sure. I can deffinatly assess the potential there. Unfortunaty those stripes know EXATLY what a real trout looks and tastes like ahahahaha! So they are super hard to trick. Makes u just want to throw 12" swimbaits all day long.

I am sure that was one hell of an impresive site for sure, enough to make your heart jump out of your chest.

I have seen trout farm in kern man i wish they would let me at them but i think it would take the fun out of it
maybe just one or two big fat ones

No, that's only with strippers not stripers!!!
