Fished the marina this morning for the rising tide bite.  Limits of bass was like pulling teeth today. So many small bass, lizard fish, yellow fin croakers. Took 3hrs to get a limit of legals. Halibut weren't on the chew. Got a baby butt and a white sea bass pushing 16". Nursery fishing. Hope you all did better than I.

DS gulp shrimp will get ya the kids. Go bigger on the presentation, then you'll get the bigger ones to hit. Still, u had a successful day. Some folks only go home with limits of Lizzies.  tongue

Yeah the berkly drop shot very good and bigger baits is a must

I was so hung up on unibutter and 3 inch hammers or the DOA plastics also fresh water creature baits covered in butter

Berkly gulp is so good

Nice work on the outing bro it has been months since I have had any success but that also maybe my lack of fishing right now. I cannot catch then spot's on my front yard grass, I am looking forward to Sunday might be a great day for me. Thanks for the report, and pictures.

What harbor were you fishing? Drop shot is the way to go. You might want to try the Gulp Minnow 3" or Fools Bait in addition to what you are currently fishing as both work well.

Gulp minnow/freshwater bait was also used. Most fish came on the shrimp. Instead of bouncing the whole rig of the bottom, i just bounced the line a bit and slow kicked dragging the rig against structure.
