I noticed my tube had a patch that says 16 years or older has anyone ever had a problem with this on the water not that im under 16 but I have brothers who wouldnt mind getting on the water with me

I don't think so. In my avatar is my grandson who was three, the ranger at Perris checked us out and said a life jacket is a better idea than the floaties. I've had both my boys at 11 or 12 use that same tube with no discussion from Rangers, but that is fresh water and a few years back.

That patch is likely a "cover their backside" liability thing. Never heard of an age limit.

No i dont believe there is an age limit it really comea down to common scense and of course safety, safety, safety.

Nope no age limits , I was in my first tube solo @ 10yrs of age .. I rode around on my bike collecting stuff to recycle to buy that new doughnut style tube and I would backpack it everywhere once I got it . never had any issues with anyone , of course I was taught the proper safety measures by the grandpa and some good friends on the water with our local rangers and all has been good since.

Thats good to know guys will be in the market for a tube then I think I might upgrade and give my old one to my brother
