FTFF Gathering Officer

Hello everyone. Great site you have here. I've been float tube fishing here on Long Island for about 6 years. I have never seen another tuber in all my times out on the water. Seems like so many more people out west are into tubing. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is the case. And is there anybody on this site from my area?

Not sure about why we love too tube, maybe its just too cold out there most of time to be in contact with the water.

There is a member (if i recall correctly) from the East coast. I think Jersey or something, but none from NY till NOW Thumbs Up

Nobody likes the cold water. When I lived in Washington State, the float tube population was non existent in the winter time.

im from rhode island myself and run into that problem all the time as i fish year round. i never see other tubbers or toon users just rude boaters

I just found the forum this morning I live in Pa and just bought a float tube, I haven't got out with it yet but hope to soon, so you can chalk up another guy from the East.
