Is it time to change our logo

OK guys narantdesigns one our newest member graciously built us a new logo and wanted to know if I wanted to use it.

I like what he has built but I am asking our members to way in is it time to update our logo to what you see here.  Place your vote and let us know what you think.

I like it, shirts with that on it be cool but I think it would look awesome as a decal.

Well it is now on the top of the main forum we will try it out. Also there might be a few changes made to it, but in I think this is it so far guys. Everything will change over in time little by little. Keep voting but the the mass has spoken and I think we have a new logo.

If that tube was orange for sure!....cool design!! Might need a bit more color....just my opinion....but i like that old school logo alot too! Just my 2 cents

This logo looks perfect for decals.

Graphically, its thorough and balanced. It bears resemblance to a rowing or yachting club logo

But it probably wont say much to anyone but a tubing aficionado.

The original logo, while cluttered, told an immediate story: a guy fishing in some kinda floating contrivance.
But, unless you know tube fishing already, this requires cyphering.

My wifes reaction to it...
"Oh okay - fishing stuff. What is it?"

It looks good atop the page, though. I guess thats the point. My vote: keep it.

The inspiration for the logo was definitely to give it more of a club type feel, Clean modern lay out, and also to celebrate the actual craft that gives us so many smiles. I figured if people are coming to this fourm, they know what a float tube is and what its used for.

I still have people pass by me in the harbor and ask what is that thing? So using someone in a tube within the logo would still not resonate with people that don't understand what it is already when they can't even ID it in person! lol

Logo was not meant to offend anyone, more of just a fan of the forum wanting to contribute.
