Hello.

I'm from Texas and have been a tuber since the days of the ORIGINAL tube float: the Tucker Float.

Looking forward to the interactions with the forum.

Well welcome Poboy glad you found us i think we are looking forward to you knowledge. Have you lived in and always tubed Texas?

Yes, born in San Antonio, moved to Ft. Worth at 13, first tube and boat at 17.

Despite becoming very proficient at operating a foot controlled trolling motor, there is nothing more stealthy or precise as a tube.

For the most part, I only use boats to transport my tube and me (yes, that is grammatically correct, I would NOT be,) to location, graph a lake, or run trotlines.

To run a yellow cat line where fish can exceed 50 lbs. is beyond crazy, ( which I am,) it's insane, (which I'm not.)

Hello Poboy and welcome! Lots of good folks here who all love this great sport. Nice to meet someone who remembers when float tubes really were tubes. I was around in those days, but never saw anyone who had one.

I also hope to enjoy many (on the edge of my seat) fish reports ... from your pond in Texas.

Right now, I'm in the mood to go to the lake, pitch a tent, throw out some lines, and pass out next to all that crap, and wake up wondering why I was even there!

BTW: For you chumps that don't live in Texas, it's 61° right now!!!!

Perhaps we could turn this page back into the welcoming of new members page and
use the correct discussion page for such topics. I for one am all for it.

I'm a little confused, but I have a vauge idea of what this is all about. I'm still coming after you...but congratulations on your present success and good luck to you as well.

It's not gonna be easy coming from behind, and IMPOSSIBLE if I can't post pics, but nothing easy is worth much!

You sir, are a class act, and it will be a challenge and a real satisfaction if I can overtake you!

I welcome our good times and some fun friendly competition.

I truly believe that you will be asserting all of your skills and knowledge to catch the current leader(s).
It probably wont be me.
