A week to Fred Hall - Who's going

I was able to get there yesterday, sadly only for a couple of hours right after they opened. Went by the Seven Bass USA booth after stopping at the Garmin booth. I did not have a chance to say hello since they had a group of people around their booth with what seemed like a lot of questions for them. Hopefully that was good for them.

I was able to attend the 72nd Annual Fred Hall Show held in Long Beach on 7-11.
I arrived there at 9:45 AM during the rains (doors opened at 10:00) and I enjoyed being inside on this rainy day until approx 5:00 PM at which time I departed during the rains. The place was fully packed with people.
It was like being at Disneyland during the Christmas holidays ... it was rather difficult to maneuver thru the crowds! lol

Parking increased to $15 .... oh well ... that was the price!

I ended up buying (2) two new reels: Diawa Ballistic LT 2500D reels w/ Mag Seals. Reel made from Zion material ... super lite and super strong.
Also purchased a few packages of the ... Z Man 10XTough Trick ShotZ:
4.2" Green Pumpkin Goby and 4.2" Bad Shad. They float!

I spent about 45 minutes at the 7 Bass booth and I was truly inspired by all the people that took an interest in the 7 Bass tubes and in float tubing in general.
7 Bass have a float tube that is very comparable to both the Outcast Fish Cat and the Cumberland. Worth looking at!
I'm glade that I had a chance to check out their complete line of float tubes and Flatforms.

I also had the pleasure of running into some ol' SWAT friends while I was there ... that was very cool!

Got back from vegas at 1330, unloaded and fed the kids, got to the show at 245. Went straight to the 7bass booth and talked to them for a bit. They gave me a killer price for one of their tubes, but I couldn't get the wife to approve...total bummer. Great company and very high quality product. My kids even loved them. Didn't get to buy anything. Nothing caught my eye. However, my 3yo caught his first trout from the pond! He can't wait till next year.

Thanks everyone for showing up and supporting. I was not there the whole but i made it as much as I could. I ended up having dinner with them both tonight and it sounds as if they were very happy with how it all went. They now have a mountian of emails to follow up on and fingers crossed theu should i hope have some good sales as well. Thanks again guys for the support it went very well.
