Think I'm gonna head off to Alamitos.

Its close, and with a sub-optimal tide and terrible Solunar planned - its probably going to be a grind.... ugh. I hate grinding.

So breakfast may come early. Smile

Was kayaking today in Newport Bay... need to get back there sometime. Haven't fished there in ages.

A sunny day like today will quickly reveal the spot you missed with the sunscreen.... ow!

Can't wait for tomorrow. Need to get a line in the water.

Excited!

They say that the fish in the harbors feed more actively when the tide is moving. I have fished a couple of times in a small 12 ft aluminum boat during the tidal movement of a big minus tide and I'll never do that again! You are moving so fast that it is impossible to fish any docks or moored boats. I would hate to be in a float tube unless there was a boater to pick me up. A regular, more gentle tidal change would be fine and does get the bites to increase.
