Solo Session in LAH, Sat 12-5-2018.
This was my 64th Float Tube session for the 2018 Season.
I always like to take a few minutes before each session to calm my thoughts and to remember to give thanks, for being so BLESSED for having such good health and for this opportunity of being here today ... enjoying the water, all of it's abundance and to take-in the breath taking sunrise of each morning's session .... amen!

Session Summary:
The weather was perfect again, the sky's were clear and filled with bright stars, the air was a chilly 49 degrees on the water and it eventually warmed-up to a brisk 68 degrees by 11:00 hrs with lots of bright sunshine, the water conditions were experiencing an out-coming tide and the fishing on the other hand was very tough in the begining! ... I spent the first 2 hrs hunting after the fish along the jetty walls, the flats, the boat docks and then outside the jetty wall because they were not on the chew first thing this morn! ... but I was able to eventually find a few of them on the chew at approx 07:45 hrs!
I wanted to give Bob's lures the best possible opportunity to catch fish and so I kicked an additional mile to my favorite "Calico honey hole" and it was worth the kick!
Once I found the fish and they were actively attacking my HUB's and they were on the bite ... I switched-out at 08:30 hrs and tied-on one of Bob's Ornery Baits "clear w/ flakes and a black back" lure with a 3/8 oz jig-head.
(Now I want you to think in-the-back-of-your-mind of the TV program ... "Forged In Steel" ... after they have test the contestant's blades, they'll say something like ) ...
"THESE ORNERY LURES ... WILL CATCH FISH!"
1st cast a Calico, 2nd cast a Calico, 3rd cast a Spotty, 7th cast a Greenback Mackerel .... ect. I ended up landing 13 fish on the one lure between 08:30 hrs and 10:00 hrs.
Not bad Bob!

I had to stop my session short because one of my released fish had turned-around and ran three of it's dorsal barbs into the end of my bladder giving me 3 punctures ... so I ended up blowing air into my Float-Tubeba all the way back during my 1 mile kick back to my launch site. Phew!! lol
Once I got home, I took the bladder out and found 3 punctures which I repaired and got my float tube ready for my next fishing session with GT at HH tomorrow morning!
