Session At Los Angeles Harbor 1-20-2019.
This was my 4th Float Tube session for the Season.

I always like to take a few minutes before each session to calm my thoughts and to remember to give thanks, for being so BLESSED for having such good health and for this opportunity of being here today ... enjoying the water, all of it's abundance and to take-in the breath taking sunrise of each morning's session .... amen!

I fished this session with GT this morning!

Location: (LAH) Los Angeles Harbor, Cabrillo Beach
Duration: 06:15 hrs until 11:45 hrs (5.5 hrs)
Sun Rise: 06:56 hrs
Sun Set: 17:12 hrs, the days are definitely getting a bit longer as each new day arrives.
Moon Phase: Waxing Gibbous
Gray Light: 06:05 hrs
Tidal Conditions: 06:00 hrs 5.9 ft, 07:00 hrs 6.8 ft, 07:54 hrs HT 7.1 ft, 09:00 6.6 ft, 10:00 hrs 5.4 ft, 11:00 hrs 3.6 ft, 12:00 hrs 1.7 ft ... etc.
Water temperatures: 55 deg
Air temperatures during session: clear sky's with temps ranging from 54 deg to 63 deg.
Surf: 2.4', Swell: 0.7', Sec's Between Sets: 16
Wind: 06:00 hrs 3 mph NW, 12:00 hrs 4 mph WNW.
Water clarity: translucent green, dirty
Large Leaf Kelp Beds: healthy patches here and there to report.
Water Visibility: 3-8 ft, depending on where you were.
Tidal Coefficient: Rising ... (CE) 96 in the morning, this is a high average and considered a stable rate.
iSolunar Prediction: Major Period: 06:00 hrs until 07:11 hrs and the Minor Period: 10:03 hrs until 13:03 hrs.

PS ... We met and fished with two other float tube anglers that showed up: Juan a.k.a. extremefishing562 and his fishing buddy Darrell. We also met up with Eddie a.k.a. Aquaholic38 at the boat launch as well.
We all talked about hooking up for some fishing in the near future!

Note: All legals shown, but just one pic of each species landed if short and all fish were quickly CPR'd.

Looks like a great outing for you guys! I like the lay of the land over there. Mostly I like fishing the wash coming out of the inner harbor (your more northern points). Wish I could’ve made it out but couldn’t get the pass today. Did you catch that salema? Or did something spit it up?

It was coughed up, I thought it as a juvenile Bass.

SP Dan, it was so cool bumping in to fellow members of this forum!!! (I was scuba diving spearfishing) i wanna get my floattube out more often, as I've only used it in the toy drive of last couple of years. I gave SP Dan my number so maybe i can get motivated to get my tube out again!! Cheers brotha!!!!
