New Video - Scouting Fishing Spots at Newport Harbor

Hi everyone! I made a new youtube video of scouting some fishing spots in Newport Harbor. Technically this on my inflatable boat, not tube. But, the inflatable boat is like a weird cousin of the float tube... so I guess it counts. Check it out!

Do you have to register that as a boat when the trolling motor is attached??

Yes. Good question. The boat is registered in CA. As soon as a motor get's added to the boat, CA requires registration.

I hang the ID on a couple plastic plates on the front of the boat. I have never been hassled about it either. I actually get Coast Guard/Harbor Patrol coming up a lot telling us how much they like the boat. I asked them each time if I needed to have the registration if I only used the trolling motor. The answers were mixed 50/50. So, that's why I keep the registration on it. Law says "any vessel with a motor", or something similar. I wanted to play it safe
