Okay not Lemans, but a whirlwind day and night of nonstop fishing. It all started way back on Saturday morning at 5:30 when I met Tom, Ed, Leigh and Kirk. We fished long and hard and I am sorry to say that I got the big Skunk-Ola! I ended up kicking all the way from Trinidad to the Navy Base!! So I had to kick all the way back because I needed to get out by 11 and the tide was on the way out so I had a little idea. A boat was going by and jokingly I said that their boat looked liked the perfect tow vehicle. Five minutes later I was passing Kirk and Ed who had been kicking for 45 minutes I almost felt guilty....But then I got over it Ed and I then proceeded to have the Ultimate Chicago Dogs at PeeWee'S in Huntington, Them were some tasty hot dogs! Well I went home and got ready for the next round of fishing.
I started out at Diamond Valley Lake at 4pm cooking in the heat! It was 111, but it was okay cause it was a Dry Heat. Long story short, We eneded up fishing until 4 in the morning and still had a 1.5 hour drive home. Final fish total at DVL was 7 Stripers and 1 Catfish. I will post up the two biggest stripers on Monday. Smallest I caught was 5 pounds, The biggest was 17 pounds!!! Those were some crazy fish. Thats all for now, I need to go back to sleep
