FTFF Gathering Officer

I haven't even dipped my Cumberland in the water yet but since my maiden voyage day was pushed back by storms I thought I'd try and whip together a rod and net holder. I'm planning on securing the PVC to the tube with the 2 D-rings that are already on the side of the Cumberland. My question was how you guys have attached fastener-wise rod holders to d rings. TIA. Eik

I believe most of the people whom built pvc rod holders use an eyebolt of some sort or another to secure it to the side of their tubes. The important one is having an additional connecting point that runs to the bottom of the tube so it stays upright while on the water.

Do a search for "rod racks" or "rodrack" or any variation. This has to be our favorite mod for the tubes.

Yep this is our thing guys, we do Eye Bolts and Small Carabiner's like these to attach to the D-rings.  All info is great above.
