This news from Lake Perris Marina:

Algae levels are now testing at a warning level!! Thursday 6/13, the lake will be treated for the algae so there will be no lake contact from 6am to 3pm, this includes fishing and boating. Lake Perris Marina will be honoring our Thursday boat special on Friday 06/14. Happy Fishing!!!

That's a bummer Jerdon ... to hear that they can close your waters due to algae build-up!
I wouldn't like it if they closed my harbors ... I'm just saying.

Well ... I hope that you can get back out there on the lake soon!

The water access is only restricted this Thursday, all beaches are open now.
It seems whenever the water is 65 degrees or more, and the water level rises or lowers substantially, Perris suffers from some kind of algae bloom.
