Met up with Kevin, Dave and met Bob out there on the water Saturday night. Had to work so I met them about 730. It was a nice night, the wind wasnt bad but it was blowing with the tide so it was hard to fish one spot. It was night to get out on the water for the second time in 2020.
Didn't catch much around the light house so we kicked across the channel. Got my first spottie of 2020 a nice 13 inch fish. I forgot my bump board and the measuring tape in the scale i had wasn't sufficient. It didn't matter as I wasn't going to catch up to Bob...LOL
We kicked to the docks along Naples where I caught a few more fish before the night was up. I ended up with 5 fish, four spotties and one turd roller. Not a bad second session for the year.
Caught a couple on the ZMan TRD Hogz and their finesse bullet head and the rest were caught on Gulp. With the strond incoming tide the heavier 1/6 oz to 3/8 head worked best for me to stay on the bottom, all the lighter stuff I couldn't feel. Thanks for reading and tight lines.
