Hello from Eastern Washington!

Hi all,
I stumbled on this forum yesterday while researching a new float tube. Seems to be a great place to learn and share ideas. I'm a long time fly fisher and am really interested in fly fishing lakes. They seem to me to be like spring creeks that don't move. I've had many types of inflatable craft over the years and currently have a Bucks Bags Alpine and a Watermaster. I became skillful at justifying each new purchase as a necessity, but have finally realized I just like 'tubes and 'toons.

Anyway, thanks for the kindness I've already found in this great forum. I am fortunate to have landed here.

I’m not a fly fisherman but we have quite a few anglers hear that are and I read are quite skilled at it as well!

Welcome to the forum Dave260 you are in the right place because we like you just love the Tube or Toon as well. You can never have enough right . So I am looking to get back into the fly-fishing side of the sport in 2021. So I am sure I will be learning from you soon. Welcome and have a great time here at the FTFF.

Is it getting a little cold up there for the tube about now? I lived in Prosser, Grandview, and Sunnyside for a while. Beautiful country.

I hope to see some pics of your fishing journeys at any rate.

Actually Jerdon, its been really warm. Yesterday was 73, and the fish have all been at the bottom of the lake. Next couple of weeks are to be in the 50's, so hopefully the lake will turn over and I can start hunting them in the shallows.
