Phone for pics, is it in a waterproof case?

Well I took a dive into Perris a few weeks ago and my phone fried. Needless to say I lost all my contacts but had my pis on a SD card.

I have a Samsung A10e, a weird model but it was cheap. Do any of you use a generic case and can you take photos with the phone in the case?........much appreciated.....GT

This probably won’t help you at all, but I use a underwater camera in lieu of using my iPhone.

I keep my phone and wallet in a Plano Watertight Stowaway 3600 box. It has an O-Ring that seats. I try not to take the phone out on the water because I am fairly clumsy.

I have this case, not exactly universal but does fit a variety of phones. It is amazon so if it does not fit your phone send it back

It has a spot to put a tether on it and it also has a tripod mount so you could rig up a holder mount.
I use it with a Deeper pro+ and for photos.

it also went on a rafting trip with me and when I flipped it took a good hit on some rocks and still stayed together and nice and dry.

There are quite a few of the same case on Amazon just a bit more expensive

I'm on my 4th iPhone (a 7, I never buy new) and other than the removal of the headphone jack (I have an adapter) it's fine and still supported.
