Just checking in............

Haven't been fishing since last year due to Bladder Cancer. I had a couple of cat scans, biopsy procedure on my bladder, and just finished 4 months of chemo.
Currently I only have the one tumor in the bladder. I will know the results of the chemo sometime in July. I have 3 options, leave bladder in, remove and make a new one from intestine, or remove bladder and have a bag.
My urologist says the cancer can reoccur in 2 to 6 years if I leave my bladder in. NO, I will have it removed and wear a bag.

I didn't know whether I should post , but I'm not dead yet and plan on tubbing soon........miss the salt....GT

Wow GT that is a lot I was wondering about you. Please don't be shy post up. Prayers for you glad it is going ok for you and if you don't have a bladder just a bag that's cool. We have always talk about this keeping us on the water longer LOL. Good to hear from you and hope to see you on the water soon.

1 mechanical horizontal stabilizer bar.

I'm sorry to hear this GT. I'm glad you're looking forward to getting back in the tube soon and have such a great attitude. We will be praying for that to happen soon!

I would like to thank everyone for their posts, had a CT scan with barium, my body didn't like the stuff.......feeling better, lot of fatigue. hope to be on the water in a couple of weeks........thanks again.......GT

Ya that stuff can be rough sorry you had that experience, the fish will be there for you when you are ready GT don't rush.  Of course looking forward to seeing you out there again.

Getting old can be tough. I am glad that you are a tough old Coot. Well, not that old, relatively speaking. But, stuff happens.

I just celebrated my 86th after a month of pneumonia; and just got back on the water myself. Moving slowly. One day at a time.

I will watch for you at HH; and as before try to figure out what you are dong that I am not.
