Look what I found

After going through my gear the other day I came across this old Daiwa reel. What is significant about this reel is this. At the age of 13 I learned how to cast with this reel in my back yard to start.
It till have the original mono on it from my last outing years ago. Set it up and did a few cast in the yard. It cast like butter. Just kind of fun to come across something form my past like this.

There was some great old casting reels, no need to spend $200 on freshwater reels. Wish I could find my old Garcia 1500C & 2500C reels, they're hiding somewhere!
