Hi everyone I have a question just for fun what is the strangest or most exotic lure you have ever used that worked.
I recently started using something unique called a Swimming Dragon. It's a silicone lure that I ordered from South Africa. I will post a picture soon. It works great and I have caught quite a few Spottied Bay Bass with them so far.
What do you have to share?

I haven’t tried anything really strange but a daisy chained Krocodile spoon with a 6” curl tail grub got me a striper. Had a lot of funny looks until they saw me hook up and another huge swirl behind it not too long after.

Ahhhh yes the old bomber lure. My son actually has one and has yet to catch on it but he loves throwing that thing. Found it at these shops around hemet out here that sell a bunch of old fishing gear and stuff like that. I dont know if its an odd lure but my father in law got me a chasebaits craw with balls. Yes thats the name. Anyway it is a 1/1 replica of a craw. 1st cast i threw with it I caught a bass. I never threw a lure that looks just like a craw, just imitations. Another lure I love throwing is an oldie but goody. The rapala skitter prop, its a torpedo bait topwater and I'll catch midday around structure at perris with the thing. That Bomber does bring back some memories!
Unusual lures? I remember as a little kid taking the soda can pull tabs, gluing a hook on with airplane glue & hand painting them to make a spoon. I really thought I had something, to bad there's zero weight to it. Haha. That's about as strange as I remember.
