It does not get easier

We had to put down our Cat this afternoon do to Cancer. It is so hard but he is free and happy once again.

Sorry to hear dude. Had to put down my 10 year old shepherd 6 months ago. Before that I lost 2 dogs all a year apart. Seems like nothing but losses lately for me so I know how u are feeling. Ill pray for ya man

Man that is tough bro we are in the same boat we have had a lot of lose over the last 2 years now. Crazy how much an animal can affect you of course in a good way. I am sorry for your lose and thanks for your support.

Yes they affected my life in a huge way 1st one was my service dog. Car came up on a curb hit n killed her almost killing me too. Second one was my second service dog.. Cancer for him. I had to get used to going everywhere by myself and picking up my own things and various things all over again. This last one at least lived a full 10 years and we put him down due to heart disease brought on by old age. So I do l know it never gets easier bro. If ya need to reminisce or talk man get at me on fb. It is tough and it will sting for awhile. I told myself no more but then... This rescue we were fostering gave me no choice lol. His name is Wolf ( due to his chewbacca like constant howling) i don't know what it is but dogs just gravitate towards me.  I have a cat too but shes more my daughter's than anyone's. Man sorry for your lose and thanks again for the support. When the time comes we will be hitting the shelters to rescue another friend for our family. But no one can replace Charlie.

Dan...Sorry for the loss of your cat. We have two cats (both in good health and relatively young). Funny how they become such a big part of your life, even though they are so independent. Hope you can get another cat to share your life with.

Very sorry.  Been there many times over the years.  Losing family members is very painful.
