I scouted Lake Perris this morning.

The lake is down 20 feet. There is a lot of exposed trees and structure to work in the shallows.
The entire East end from the Island has a 5mph speed limit.
This means for the ambitious float tuber, the island is reachable in 15 or 20 minutes and no speeding boats to avoid.

Temps outside 50 in the morning 75 or 80 by 11am
Water temp 65 or so

Oh sweet looks like a good day coming up this Saturday.

Ok so tomorrow is the day. We will be meeting at Lot 12 after the gates open. Drop off our toys and or donations give some prizes and do so fishing. See you there guys.

Ok made it to Perris it was a small but might group LOL.  Me Jerdon and GT were there just after the gates opened.  The weather was nice with a cold morning.  We were in about 7am and I was out just before 10.  I hooked and lost one at the boat and Jerdon was the same.  Always good to see old friends and do some fishing.  Now on to Newport Dec. 9th.  Let's fill the harbor everyone.

I'm glad to see everyone had a great time at Perris and looking forward to getting out on the water for Newport Toy Drive. Have had a lot going on this year and fishing and float tubing has taken a back seat. Cant wait to see everyone and supporting the charities.
