Does anyone here have experience with using their float tube or pontoon boat after hip replacement surgery?

Welcome to the forum dmcnair,

I can tell you after surgery the float tube is more comfortable than before the surgery. Once you heal up the pain of moving around is gone. Ask away and I will answer what I can.

How many weeks after surgery did you wait to use your tube? Is it a float tube or pontoon, framed or frameless?

It was three months before I went back out on the tube.

I only had a Cumberland at that time. As part of my therapy I would practice putting on and taking off my fins from a chair. I would practice putting my tube on with the back straps over my shoulders and walk around the back yard with the tube empty and progressed with more ane more weight.
