4 Hali's-DPH 16 December

Well after that good session with Kona I had to get back at it again for some bigger halis. This time I used live bait on a trap righ witb 2oz of weight to maintain bottom contact. Fish ranged from 12 inches to a little over 20 inches.

Went to the spots I caught halis at the other day for no luck....the place I caught my 4 was in the most obvious spot of them all. Ill post pics later when I get to my computer.

Yea the wind was a bit of a factor but i used it to help me drift certain areas. The hard part was kickin against the wind and current to set up yhe drifts though.

WTG bra my son and I just left the harbor We fished for 2 hrs my moms making xmas dinner early so I'm still killin two birds with one stone managed to land a spottie on the first cast and that was it I caught her on that green big hammer you gave me thanks bra hit me up

Next time I fish ill let ya know...we can liveline some bait...that net i have really is awesome. Plus i was doing it all with my curado 200e5 spolled with 30lb power pro...i wanna see if that little reel can handle some big fat flatties.

And i woulda let you know i was fishin the other day...in case you were in the area but i did it last minute after work and hadda get outta the water early too. Next time for sure we'll get 'em.
